Calling all Young Alumni

25 November 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • « Simonsig: Maties wine club
  • #Action4Inclusion: Social Justice Walk with Prof Thuli »

Are you under 35 and looking for new and exciting opportunities to network and build your career? Then our Young Alumni Programme (YAP) is designed just for you!

The Young Alumni Programme aims to create career development and networking opportunities for you, which will enable you to thrive in your chosen profession. To find out more about this vibrant network, watch the launch video.

What they say is true, your network is your net worth. We know how important building networks is when establishing a new career. Building a network does not stop after university and that is precisely why we are creating networking opportunities through our regional Alumni Hubs and Chapters, to reach you wherever you are.

Join our London YAP network on Thursday, 25 November 2021 for a drinks reception with Mark Sater, Matie alumnus and CEO of Sage Housing.

Mark will share some of his “How to …” moments from Stellenbosch and beyond. There will also be ample opportunity for you to ask and engage with questions.

The details for the event are as follows:

Date: Thursday, 25 November 2021
Time: 18:00 – 20:00
Venue: Uncommon Borough, 1 Long Ln, London SE1 4PG
RSVP: Send an email to darrynh@sun.ac.za to reserve your place.

This event is FREE but there are only 27 spaces available! Preference will be given to alumni who arrived in the UK since January 2020. Your space will be confirmed by email.

We look forward to seeing this programme grow, and all future feedback from you.
