Enabling the entrepreneurial spirit

18 August 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

  • « More than a cup of rooibos tea . . .
  • Maties Rugby Virtual discussion »

In times of crisis, entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial spirit have been known to thrive, unleashing new solutions and innovations that forever change the societies in which we live.

The global #COVID_19 pandemic we are currently facing is no different and already many innovations and technological advances are emerging, which create new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The Development and Alumni Relations team at Stellenbosch University (SU) are pleased to invite you to an online webinar with the CEO of SU’s The Launchlab, Josh Romisher, as he discusses Entrepreneurial Mindsets for the New Normal: How We can Use Entrepreneurial Techniques to Thrive in the New Post #COVID_19 World Order.

More about Josh:
Prior to joining SU, Josh has spent over six years in the African solar home system sector as the former CFO of Fenix International and vice president of corporate finance at ZOLA Electric. He is an entrepreneur with a wide array of ventures, including a boutique investment bank in New York, solar irrigation start-up in India, and frozen yogurt franchise in San Francisco.

His mission of creating impact at scale and passion for the environment led him to the distributed solar sector in Africa. He is driven by the opportunity to provide hard working people across the globe with the platform to put their skills to work in affecting positive social change.

Josh holds a master of science in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds the chartered financial analyst designation.
