Stellenbosch University’s Development and Alumni Relations Division in partnership with Maties Sport will be hosting an engaging Maties Rugby Legends discussion on Thursday 27 July 2023 and we would be delighted if you could join us.
What is the current state of Maties Rugby? Are there plans afoot to return to their winning ways? Are our Boks ready for the much-anticipated World Cup in France?
Please join the discussion with Lucas ‘Kabamba’ Floors, former 7’s player and currently Maties Rugby coach, Breyton Paulse, former Maties and Springbok rugby player, and Rudolf Straeuli, former Maties and Springbok rugby player and CEO of Lions Rugby. These legends are set to share their insights, experiences, and knowledge about the sport.
Leading the discussion on the evening is Matie alumna Cato Louw, sports anchor on CapeTalk and KFM and rugby presenter on SuperSport.
