Majuba 55 Year Reunion

Majuba Grysduif, you are invited to celebrate the wonderful home that Majuba residence has been for 55 years at our reunion on Friday, 9 September 2022.

Our reunion programme:
Friday, 9 September
17:00 – Arrival at Majuba
17:30 – “Death of Majuba” ceremony in the quad
18:00 – House meeting where, among other things, a new Old Majubane Bond (OMB) will be elected
19:30 – Spitbraai dinner (R330 per person)
Overnight accommodation at the residence.
(There are 55 rooms available, symbolising the 55 years existence, at R250 per person. Bring own bedding)
Saturday, 10 September
09:00 – Brunch (For those sleeping over: R120 per person)

Please send an email to homecoming@sun.ac.za to book your spot. To ensure you don’t miss out, the closing date for RSVPs is Sunday, 14 August 2022.

These celebrations coincide with the University’s annual Homecoming and Family Weekend for alumni taking place from Thursday, 8 September to Saturday, 10 September. No doubt, it holds the promise of plenty of opportunity for you to reconnect and network with fellow Maties right in the heart of Matieland! Visit www.matiesalumni.com for more information.
