SWAN: In conversation with Minister Naledi Pandor

20 August 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

  • « Invitation: Women in Law
  • Maties wine club »

The Stellenbosch University Women Alumnae Network (SWAN) takes great pleasure in inviting you to an online conversation in celebration of Women’s Month in South Africa. Our special guest speaker is the Honourable Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, and Matie alumna, Dr Naledi Pandor. Together with a few of our many alumnae who work in international diplomacy across the globe, we will share insights and discuss the topic Women in Diplomacy.

SWAN is a global network of Matie women which celebrates and elevates alumnae who have and continue to contribute to this institution’s excellence. Its aim is to offer a space for discussion and exploration of the unique issues that arise when women take the lead.

You are welcome to send specific questions for Minister Pandor in advance to alisonapril@sun.ac.za.

Please join us.

Date: Friday, 20 August 2021
Time: 13:00 SAST; 13:00 Europe; 12:00 UK & Ireland
Venue: Online (Zoom)
RSVP: Email alisonapril@sun.ac.za to RSVP by Monday, 16 August 2021.
(The link will be provided per email two days prior to the event.)

Our Maties are spread all over the world, and we would like to make contact with as many of you as possible. If you know of alumnae who are not aware of our events, please forward this invitation to them. Please be so kind as to request them to send an e-mail to alumni@sun.ac.za so that we can add them to future invitation lists.

We look forward to welcoming you online.
