SWAN: Your healthy dose of inspiration

28 May @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

  • « Maties Wine Club with Neethlingshof
  • #CrazySocks4Docs webinar 2022 »

Stellenbosch University’s Johannesburg Alumni Chapter is hosting its first-ever Stellenbosch Women Alumnae Network (SWAN) event on Saturday, 28 May. We would love our alumnae in Johannesburg to join in the morning’s activities as we build the SWAN network in the city of gold.

No person is immune to adversity, and everyone has experienced adversity at some point in their lives. An MBA graduate of the Stellenbosch University Business School, Thandi Boshoma, is a career woman and the author ofRise Up Against All Odds. It is a practical self-improvement and inspirational book which expresses a meaningful and systematic approach to facing and navigating adversity by using the very same force of the adversity as a springboard to excel and prosper in life.

Thandi will not only share her insights on how to succeed against the odds, but she will also share the BRAVE system that she personally developed, which is an acronym for Boldness, Resilience, Authenticity, Vision and Enthusiasm.

We anticipate vibrant engagement and stimulating conversations as we celebrate our alumnae, so don’t miss this opportunity to network with fellow Matie women.

The event details are as follows:

Date: Saturday, 28 May 2022
Time: 09:30 for 10:00
Venue: The Courthouse, Sandhurst
Cost: R150 (includes breakfast and refreshments), address and payment details will be provided upon RSVP.
