Women in Sport Leadership Guest Lecture

The Centre for Sport Leadership at Maties Sport will be hosting a guest lecture on the theme of “Women and Successful Leadership in Sport” on the evening of Thursday, 20 February 2020 (commencing at 18:30). The guest speaker will be Ms Dagmar Freitag, a long-time member of the German parliament and chairwoman of the German Sports Committee. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion including the Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Ms Anroux Marais, as well as Stellenbosch University’s Chief Director of Sport, Ms Ilhaam Groenewald.
