Networking in Europe

23 February 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

  • « Virtual meet-up: Join us
  • Covid-19: Vaccines talk »

The Development and Alumni Relations Division at Stellenbosch University (SU) warmly invites you to check-in, have a drink, and tap into the inspiration and insight of our Maties network at an online networking event on Tuesday, 23 February. We will be joined by Barney Jordaan, Matie alumnus and professor at the Vlerick Business School, to discuss the topic Why waste a good conflict?

In today’s uncertain, turbulent and increasingly inter-dependent business world, the risk of conflict within organisations or teams becoming dysfunctional is probably higher than ever. Organisational conflict wisdom and individual conflict leadership skills are therefore becoming critical for organisational effectiveness and individual well-being. The benefits of this can also have a larger societal ripple effect.

Please join us as we go into breakout rooms for a mix of introductions, to discuss the topic, to grow our networks and to have fun.
When: Tuesday, 23 February 2021
Time: 19:00 to 20:15 CET
Where: Online (Zoom)
(The Zoom link will be provided per email two days prior to the event.)
RSVP: Please email alisonapril@sun.ac.za to RSVP by Tuesday, 16 February 2021.
We look forward to seeing you at this virtual gathering.
