Prof Johan Fourie Book Launch

You are warmly invited to the launch of Prof Johan Fourie’s book Our Long Walk to Economic Freedom on Monday 10 October in Amsterdam.


How did Einstein help create Eskom? Why can an Indonesian volcano explain the Great Trek? What do King Zwelithini and Charlemagne have in common? In Our Long Walk to Economic Freedom, economic historian Johan Fourie follows the history of the world economy from an African perspective.

Prof Johan Fourie will be in the Netherlands for one night only to discuss his surprising questions, unexpected connections, and how economic developments are closely intertwined with different factors. The book will be available for sale at the venue for € 25.
