Prof Wim ready for Cape Town Cycle Tour to benefit #Move4Food

Prof. Wim de Villiers, Rector and Vice-Chancellor of Stellenbosch University, will put his endurance to the test at this year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour on Sunday, 12 March 2023.

A group of cyclists, including University employees, students, alumni, and fighting-fit friends of the University, are prepared to accelerate and navigate slipstreams.

It goes without saying that this is the biggest time trial cycling race in the world and a great chance to raise money for the student-driven #Move4Food initiative, which is now also one of the top priorities of the University’s Annual Fund, Bridge the Gap.

The #Move4Food cycling team received their cycling shirts on Thursday, 9 March 2023 at the Alumni Clubhouse at Die Stal.
No student can perform at their highest level while hungry. Our Matie community wholeheartedly back the #Move4Food campaign.
You can back Prof Wim and the Matie team with by donating to this worthy cause.
