Thank you for supporting the #Move4Food campaign to end student hunger on all our campuses.
Our next #Move4Food cycle challenge is the ABSA Cape Epic. It is arguably the premier mountain biking event in the world today. The top riders from all over the world (including 17 world- and Olympic champions) compete over eight days, 647km and 15 550m of vertical ascent.
From the slopes of Table Mountain National Park to the luxury of Val de Vie Estate, the route for 2020, the 17th edition, will challenge all and reward those who have come prepared with proven partnerships, technical skills, fitness and mental fortitude.
We need your help
Show your support for the SU alumni team participating in the ABSA Cape Epic in 2020, who will be giving their all-in support of #Move4Food.
Francois Swart, at SU’s Facilities Management, and Robert van Staden, at the Faculty of Education, joined forces to ride the arduous Cape Epic this year. It will be Francois’s 5th Cape Epic and Robert’s 4th, and the first time they will ride for a charity.
They wish to raise R200 000 for #Move4Food and have managed to raise R44 000 thus far!
