The Stellenbosch Women Alumnae Network (SWAN) of Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs invites you to a themed brunch, The Hidden Load. This event will commemorate International Women’s Day that is celebrated across the globe on 8 March. Our panellists will share research on mental loading and its toll on women. This invisible burden may be defined as having to orchestrate all the various practical, emotional, social, and other responsibilities as an integrated whole, while simultaneously considering work-life intersections and their effects. The attendees will be invited to join the conversation, followed by a doodle- and colouring-in brain activity to spark new and engaging conversations.
