#SWAN: The excitement is building for the Netball World Cup taking place in Cape Town later this year!
But before we get to watch the world’s finest netball talents in action, the Stellenbosch Women Alumnae Network (SWAN) and Maties Netball have joined forces to host a pre-World Cup get-together.
You are invited to an inspiring evening of captivating conversations featuring the head coach of Maties Netball and former Proteas Captain, Zanele Mdodana, and our very own Nichole Taljaard and Nicola Smith who have earned their spots in the South African World Cup squad.
Additionally, the event will feature former Maties and Proteas netball players including Debbie Hamman who captained the Proteas between 1985 and 1996, coaches, and experts who have firsthand experience of the extraordinary talent and achievements of our Maties Netball players.
At this event, we will network, socialise, and explore ways to provide the necessary financial support to propel Maties Netball and its players to greater heights.
We will have you buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming international netball world championship.
