Elgin Maties: Join us

16 April 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

  • « Covid-variants and vaccines for Africa
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship »

We are excited to announce the launch of a new Maties network on your doorstep — our Elgin Maties Alumni Chapter. The picturesque Elgin region — Grabouw, Vyeboom Kleinmond, Botriver, Betty’s Bay, Villiersdorp, Theewaterskloof, Pringlebaai — is home to over 800 alumni and we thought it is about time to bring Maties in this region together.

This Chapter hopes to provide the opportunity for Maties with diverse interests, ambitions and from different industries to engage with one another, share some memories and revive the connection with their alma mater.

The Elgin Maties Alumni Chapter forms part of the Overberg Alumni Hub which brings different chapters together at annual events (including sporting and fundraising activities, guest lectures, and networking opportunities), and serves as a platform for collaboration.

Please join the official launch of our Elgin Maties Alumni Chapter on Friday, 16 April 2021. The event takes place at Elgin Vintners and includes a wine tasting experience presented by fellow Matie, Marinda Kruger-Claassen.

The event details are as follows:
Date: Friday, 16 April 2021
Time: 17:30- 20:00
Venue: Elgin Vintners
Cost: Free
