The Development and Alumni Relations Division at Stellenbosch University (SU) is excited to announce the launch of a new Maties network on your doorstep — the Gansbaai Maties Alumni Chapter.
This Alumni Chapter hopes to provide the opportunity for Maties with diverse interests, ambitions and from different industries to engage with one another, share some memories and revive the connection with their alma mater.
Please join the official launch on Tuesday, 25 May 2021. For this launch event, we are hosting a conversation on economic freedom in the South African context with:
Professor Johan Fourie, professor of economic history at SU, columnist, researcher and blogger. He recently published a book titled Our Long Walk to Economic Freedom. AND Dr Leslie Van Rooi, the Senior Director for Social Impact and Transformation at SU. He is also the residence head for Simonsberg Men’s Residence.
