“Without inclusiveness, social justice and participation in any democracy, peace is an illusion.” ‒ Prof Thuli Madonsela

Prof Thuli Madonsela is a law professor and the Law Trust Chair in Social Justice at Stellenbosch University and the former Public Protector of South Africa. This year, the Breede River Alumni Hub will be hosting Prof Madonsela at the Leipzig Country House and Conference Centre in Worcester and you are invited.

The occasion provides Maties with a great opportunity to engage in a myriad of topics ranging from sustainable social justice, the current state of South African politics, and Prof Thuli Madonsela’s challenges as a public representative and the leadership required in government. We anticipate vibrant and stimulating conversations and an exciting networking opportunity.

The event details are as follows:
Date: Saturday, 16 October 2021
Time: 09:00
Venue: Leipzig Country House, Nuy Valley, Worcester
Cost: R200 (includes breakfast)
Payment details will be shared upon receipt of your RSVP.
RSVP: Email Sandra Mbatha at smbatha@sun.ac.za to RSVP by Wednesday 6 October 2021 . You may RSVP for only two tickets.

Due to COVID-19, we have limited capacity and are therefore following a first-come, first-served approach.

We are looking forward to your response and seeing you at this wonderful event!
