Maties Homecoming in London

5 March 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

  • « Dagbreek Street Mile
  • Homecoming in Germany »

Stellenbosch University’s annual Homecoming and Family Weekend for alumni, is taking place from 5 to 9 March 2020 on our picturesque Stellenbosch campus – and if you can’t be there, then be here with us in London.

Come join us for our very own Homecoming celebration at Hammer & Tongs in Farringdon, as we recreate the “langtafel” of Ryneveld Street with our very own “mini-langtafel”.

Homecoming is an opportunity to connect with fellow Maties who are living and working in London and the UK. To form and strengthen new and existing networks both in friendship and business.

Tickets are only £30, which includes a three course sharing braai platter, a glass of South African sparkling wine on arrival and a live performance by South African band – the Stone Jets.

Ten pounds of your ticket price will be donated to the #Move4Food campaign at Stellenbosch University, a student-led initiative to limit the impact of hunger among students whose finances do not fully cover their costs.

Come along and enjoy a great evening among fellow Maties, have a good time and make a difference in the lives of new Maties at your alma mater!

Spaces are limited – there are only 50 tickets for this event, book now to avoid disappointment.
